This DESIGN LOGBOOK is a reflection on design concepts, topics, and philosophies that paired with intriguing graphic visuals, recounts a thoughtful journey through a design class. I chose to design this logbook in a black and white style to explore visual and typographic layouts without the added distraction of color. Through powerful contrast and organized text compositions, I was able to create visuals that captured the attention of the reader while also supporting the text contents of each text entry to the logbook. This creative experimentation allowed me to experiment with various visual communication techniques and styles while still maintaining a unified aesthetic and narrative that eventually created a compelling reading experience.
